An attractive thatched country pub with a fine range of beers. It had a fire earlier this year (2004) but has managed to stay open during extensive repairs and should re-emerge better than ever. Excellent food complements the beers which regularly include examples from Ringwood and Hopback, the latter of whom produces Best Bitter, the house beer. In the summer there's a big beer garden and great children's playground.
