Want to be paid to go to the pub?
July 27, 2007: Everards are posing the frankly ridiculous question: would you like to be paid for going to the pub?
It's all part of quality control for the Leicestershire brewer which is looking for people to go into its pubs unannounced and sample the food and drink on offer.
Some 500 volunteers are being sought altogether. The idea is to eat and drink at an Everards establishment, collect a receipt or other proof of purchase without being detected, then fill in a simple on-line questionnaire to claim a reward of £15 per visit.
