Smoke-free breakfasts at the Cock & Bull

July 1, 2007: The Cock & Bull in Sutton, Surrey, is marking the smoking ban by offering its customers a range of breakfasts and complimentary newspapers.

Brian Nixon, manager of the Cock & Bull in Sutton High Street, has decided that, from today, he will be opening up the pub at 9am each morning for breakfast. In addition, for the first week of the smoking ban, he will is offering customers free tea and coffee and bacon butties, with complimentary newspapers for them to digest over breakfast.

Brian said: “I wanted to offer something extra for my regular customers as well as encouraging people who had never been to the pub before to pay us a visit.

Fuller’s has put a lot of effort into creating an attractive heated patio area for our smoking customers to use. I am also hoping that by providing free butties and hot drinks in the first week, we will attract a lot of new customers who will see what we have to offer and will come back to visit us again and again.”
