Beer sales plummet at Globe

March 31, 2008: Beer sales at the Globe Pub Company fell 8% year on year to the end of February, new figures show.

So far this year they are down 6%. Beer sales make up 63.1% of the company's income.

Globe, established in 2004 by R20, an investment company of Robert Tchenguiz, runs more than 450 leased pubs of many styles and is managed by S&N Pub Enterprises.
