Blonde has more fun
May 30, 2006: Fans of Fuller's Discovery Blonde Beer could be £5,000 richer this summer with the new Discover a Fortune promotion, running in Fullers and Gales pubs and a number of free trade venues.
With each purchase of Discovery, customers are given a card with three cryptic clues to a mystery place - one answer is a county, one a town or city and the third the location of the £5,000. The winner will be pulled in a prize draw. Other prizes include Discovery T-shirts and Nikon digital cameras.
The promotion is supported in the pub with point of sale and special posters, and customers can practice their geographical skills with a website game at www.discoverybeer.co.uk
The competition is being backed by a commercial radio promotion, and the Discovery team will be hitting the road with a sampling programme to introduce new drinkers to the brand during the summer.
Brands marketing manager David Spencer, said: Discovery Blonde Beer has been a great success during its first year, attracting lots of new drinkers to the ale category. We are now looking to build on that, get the brand in front of more people, and keep up its contemporary image."
