Railway offers great platform for West beers
April 18, 2007: The beer list has been updated for the Blandford Beer Festival, being staged at the Railway Inn in the town from May 4 to 7.
This year there will be 41 different ales (38 in the festival and three in the main bar) from Dorset, Jersey, Guernsey, Devon, Cornwall, and Somerset. For the first time there will also be real ciders from Dorset.

The beers are: Abbey Ales Bath Star, Badger First Gold, Badger Hopping Hare, Badger Puffing Billy, Badger Stinger, Badger Tanglefoot, Barum Basil's Best, Beer Engine Piston Bitter, Berrow Topsy Turvey, Blackawton 44 Special, Branscombe Vale BVB Own Label, Cotleigh Golden Eagle, Cottage Somerset & Dorset Ale, Country Life Country Bum, Dorset Brewing Co Durdle Dor, Exe Valley Exeter Old Bitter, Goldfinch Midnight Sun, Goldfinsh Stormbreaker, Isle of Purbeck Fossil Fuel, Isle of Purbeck Solar Power, Jersey Tipsy Toad, Jersey Jimm'y Bitter, Jollyboat Contraband, Keltek 4K Mild, Milk Street Funky Monkey, Moor Old Freddie Walker, O'Hanlon's Double Champion Wheat, Organic Lizard Point, Otter Bright, Palmer's Dorset Gold, Princetown Jail Ale, Randall's Island Gold, RCH PG Steam, Ringwood Best, St Austell Black Prince, Scattor Rock Devonian, Sharp's Cornish Coaster, Skinner's Heligan Honey, South Hams Sutton Comfort, Wooden Hand Black Pearl.
