Brooklyn brew inspired by Belgian beers
March 30, 2007: The Brooklyn Brewery, in New York, is launching a new Belgian-inspired brew, Brooklyn Local 1.
The bottle conditioned beer, in a 750ml bottle, has been developed by renowned head brewer Garrett Oliver, who compares it to a traditional tripel or strong saison.
The beer has been launched in the New York area and will be available on the US's East Coast next.
