Uncertainty over Jennings jobs

May 29, 2005: A number of employees at Jennings Brewery will find out on June 6 if they still have jobs following the takeover by Wolverhampton & Dudley Brewery.

At the moment the company says its simply doesn't know how the staff numbers will end up once the full integration of the formerly independent Cumberland brewery has take place.

The jobs that could be affected are in distribution and customer services. Brewery shop staff and tour guide have been told their jobs are safe.

All employees have been guaranteed work until September.
