Fuller's club signs up 20,000th member
January 29, 2007: Chris Gascoyne, from Chesterfield, has been signed up as the 20,000th member of Fullers Fine Ale Club.

The club, which is free to join, provides members with a raft of benefits, including special offers, discounts, competitions and a free, quarterly magazine, First Draught.
Chris joined via Fullers new website, www.fullers.co.uk and, to celebrate reaching the milestone, he and a friend have been invited for an all expenses paid VIP trip to the brewery, including an overnight stay in a Fuller's hotel and a chance to meet the Fine Ale Club team, including Fuller's head brewer, John Keeling.
Chris said: Im a fan of Fullers and its pubs, but as I live quite a way from the brewery I wanted to stay in touch with whats going on there. The Fullers Fine Ale Club seemed the perfect way to do this, and as its free to join I thought, why not?
"I'm looking forward to receiving my first copy of First Draught magazine, and can't wait to visit the brewery. I hear the head brewer holds roadshows in pubs across the country, so when I meet him I'll ask if he can make his way up to Chesterfield soon."
Clare Draper, Fullers brand manager and
Fine Ale Club co-ordinator, said: The Fullers Fine Ale Club
has proved extremely popular since we launched it in 1999. As far as we're
aware it's one of the largest beer fan clubs in Europe, if not the largest,
and it shows that lots of people share our pride and passion for fine
ale."
