The pairing took place at a Real Beer Dinner at the two-star Michelin restaurant and hotel Le Manoir Aux Quat' Saisons, at Great Milton, Oxfordshire.
Owner Raymond Blanc is the star of BBC Two's The Restaurant and widely acknowledged as Britain's most celebrated restaurateur.
He said: "I love to create menus which work in harmony with beer. There is a food revolution taking place taking place in England, with some wonderful locally-brewed beers and craft cheeses being produced."
Hook Norton's managing director, James Clarke, added: "Old Hooky is a beautifully balanced beer. Fruity by nature, it is made with pale and crystal malt and has a sensational hoppy aroma and taste, which gives way to a sweet, lingering finish.
Old Hooky, is available on draught in pubs, or in supermarkets in a stunning tall slim-line bottle. Designed to stand out on a shelf, it will look even better on dining tables at home as it is a perfect accompaniment to food.
Old Hooky (4.6% ABV) is proving to be a firm favourite not just with Raymond Blanc but with supermarket shoppers across the country. One of countrys best-known pub beers, it is now nationally available in ASDA, Sainsbury and Tesco stores, in 500ml bottles. It is also on sale in Waitrose and Budgen in the Oxfordshire area.
