New ad campaign for London Pride

March 27, 2008: Fuller's has a new burst of advertising promoting London Pride during March, April and May. It comprises posters and cinema and taxi adverts, and features new versions of the brand’s ‘Whatever you do, take Pride’ creative work.

David Spencer, Fuller’s brands marketing manager, said: “This campaign will reinforce Pride’s best-in-class credentials in a striking and attractive fashion, taking our ‘Whatever you do, take Pride’ message to the nation’s discerning beer drinkers.

“We invest heavily every year in building a strong brand image for London Pride. A heavy burst of posters, with a fresh twist on our recent ‘ingredients’ work, supported by cinema ads and branded taxis, is part of an annual £2m investment.

“All this coincides with our sponsorship of the London Marathon, one of the capital’s truly iconic events. Later in 2008 you’ll see more advertising for Pride, and as the official beer of the English Golf Union, we are active and visible throughout the year. “

Fuller’s Beer Company managing director, John Roberts, added: “Premium ale is weathering the current market better than other styles, with strong brands leading the way. We’re determined that London Pride continues to lead the pack”.
