Everards launches training academy

September 26, 2006: Everards has opened a £40,000 training centre in the grounds of its Castle Acres site in Narborough, Leicestershire.

The Everards Academy will host a variety of compulsory and optional courses for the brewery's licensees, bar staff and national accounts personnel.

It features a lecture-style room for presentations and a working cellar for practical, ‘hands on' beer quality training, which links to a small bar where delegates can practice serving the perfect pint.

Courses will include the silver level beer and cellar quality management - which, until now, was held in various pubs in the Everards estate - basic hygiene and first aid courses.

The new centre is also available for hire - call 0116 2014225 for more details.
