Rosey Nosey is back

November 24, 2006: Batemans Rosey Nosey, the festive beer with its eye-catching pump clip adorned with a cotton wool bear, jingly bells and red flashing nose, is back. Cask and bottle versions both have a 4.9% ABV — there is plenty of roast malt character and generous hop flavour.

“A winter beer needn’t have to be over six per cent,” says Stuart Bateman.

“We don’t want people to just collect these or buy them as a gift. It’s a very drinkable beer designed for Christmas parties and a great accompaniment to your Christmas meal — we want people to drink it.”

Also available this winter is Batemans Salem Porter. The 4.7% brew has a dry roast, nutty palate and rich malty aftertaste, and was named CAMRA’s champion porter/stout last year.
