Next stage for 'Beer from the Coast' campaign

May 24, 2007: Adnams is enhancing its marketing campaign this year by attending a number of high-profile events throughout East Anglia.

The company aims to build on its 'Adnams, Beer from the Coast’ branding that has been running for four years in newspapers and magazines in addition to outdoor posters.

Marketing director Steve Curzon said: "The advertising campaign has proved very successful with high levels of recognition from the public. The progression this year is to be present at a number of events with our boat-shaped bar where people can enjoy a taster of our famous beers and learn more about Adnams and our drive to reduce our impact on the environment.

"The carefully selected events programme will give us the opportunity to meet up with our loyal fans and hopefully encourage a few more.”

Adnams was recently crowned the Carbon Trust’s Carbon Innovator of the Year and this summer’s events will highlight ways in which it has been working with the University of East Anglia’s Carbon Reduction team to reduce its carbon footprint.

Events will include the Suffolk Show, Latitude, Holkham Fair, the Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival and the Norwich Food Festival. For more details contact Adnams on 01502 727200 or visit www.adnams.co.uk
