Greene King backs CAMRA's Mild Month
April 24, 2008: Greene King Brewing Company is championing the Campaign for Real Ale's (CAMRA) Mild Month by encouraging beer-lovers to try its award-winning XX Mild during May.

By writing to more than 2,000 of its pubs, Greene King is encouraging licensees to support CAMRAs campaign throughout the month and to stock XX Mild, which has recently been crowned champion mild of East Anglia by a CAMRAs tasting panel.
Licensees who place orders for Greene King XX Mild will receive a joint Greene King and CAMRA promotional kit, including a poster, drip mats and tent card,s to help promote the campaign to their customers.
Greene King Brewing Company managing director, Justin Adams said, Were really delighted to be working with CAMRA on one of their key campaigns
" XX Mild is an important part of our diverse portfolio of quality ales and were working hard to ensure ale lovers can still experience the unique taste of mild in pubs across the country.
CAMRA representative Ian Brocklebank added: We ask licensees to come on board by stocking this style of beer, encouraging pub-goers to try a few milds throughout the month and hope that all of our members participate in events up and down the country to make this year's Mild Month the biggest ever.
Greene King XX Mild (3% ABV) is a sweet, dark cask mild, traditionally brewed using roasted and chocolate malt.
