Guinness aims to surge ahead
January 24, 2007: Guinness is launching its Surger device which gives its tinned beer the characteristics of a draught poured pint into the on-trade in the UK.
It is being aimed at businesses like hotels and restaurants that do not have enough turnover to make keeping draught Guinness practical.
The Surger sends an ultrasonic wave through a glass of Guinness stood on it to create the draught look.
