Going Nuts for Marston's
February 23, 2005: Marston's has crafted a unique limited edition beer for best selling men's magazine Nuts.
Just 200 cases of Nuts premium beer have been produced, crafted using the brewerys own well water and fermented in oak casks.
A series of competitions to win the one-off brew will feature in issues of Nuts over the next few months.
Writers from the popular men's weekly tested the brew and described the 4.5% ABV beer as "the most heavenly-tasting liquid on earth".
Peter Jackson, marketing director of WDB Brands, said: "We are delighted to brew this special beer for such a popular title. Marston's don't compromise and the team at Nuts recognised our commitment to quality and brewing excellence when they asked us to brew this beer."
Jo Smalley, publisher for Nuts, said: "We're thrilled to launch our own beer and thank the beer experts at Marston's. I believe we have made magazine history - certainly in the men's weekly magazine arena!"
