Shares cheer for pubco and brewer
December 22, 2007: The business press reports some seasonal cheer today for a brewer and pubco.
Shares in Enterprise Inns are up 11.25p to 496p, says The Times, with SABMiller the FTSE's biggest riser, up 90p to £14.06p. The latter is on the back of a deal to combine its US and Puerto Rico operations with Coors.
Mitchells & Butlers, however, fell 15p to 427.25p, the day after it was pushed out of the FTSE 100 list of shares.
