In the run up to Christmas, Tusker will donate 5p for every bottle sold in Tesco, with the retailer matching this figure. It is hoped the initiative will raise a significant amount of money for the charity.

Tusk Trust is a UK-based wildlife charity with over 17 years experience of conserving wildlife, promoting education and supporting community development programmes throughout Africa. It provides practical, logistical and financial support to a portfolio of more than 30 field projects in 17 African countries.

It boasts a large number of celebrity supporters, such as Rory Bremner, Ronnie Wood and Griff Rhys Jones; Prince William has also granted his royal patronage.

Tusker is an award-winning genuine imported lager which has won gold on numerous occasions at the Monde Selection international beer awards. Itr is brewed using the highest quality equatorial malted barley, grown at the base of Mount Kenya and in the Kenyan Rift Valley. It is a crisp and clean tasting lager, making it a great thirst quencher as well as the ideal accompaniment to food.

Tusker’s heritage dates back to 1922. It is loved by East African’s and has become part of the national fabric. Tusker lager is named in memory of the brewery’s founder George Hurst, who was killed by an elephant in 1923. The iconic elephant logo and distinctive black and gold colouring make the brand stand out from the crowd.

Tusker comes in 500ml bottles and has RRP of £1.49 in Tesco.
