More Barracuda openings
April 22, 2006: The Barracuda Group has opened its latest four pubs opening on the same night.
The four sites comprise two new Smith & Jones pubs - The Cambus in Cambuslang, Scotland, and The Vanguard in Fareham, Hanmpshire - and two re-branded pubs - The Red Lion, which has become a Barracuda Bar, in Chester-le-Street, and The Pear Tree, which has become Varsity Didsbury.
The four pubs add up to an investment worth £2.3 million and take the Barracuda Group to 176 fully operational pubs, with 30 more scheduled to open by the end of the year.
