Brakspear sponsors Henley Regatta

June 21, 2008: Brakspear Bitter will be the official cask beer sponsor at the 2008 Henley Regatta from July 2 to 6. A similar sponsorship deal was successful at last year's event.

Brakspear Bitter will be the sole beer served in the stewards' and public enclosures across the whole regatta.

Chris Keating, Brakspear brand manager for Brakspear owner Marstons, said: “Henley is the birthplace of Brakspear and a very important element of the Brakspear brand. It is great to be able to work with such an exciting event in the beer’s local area.

"This sponsorship follows hot on the heels of our Brakspear Henley Ale Trail, which encourages beer lovers to visit the wonderful selection of Brakspear pubs to be found in the Henley area.”
