Oman member signs up for Fuller's club

February 21, 2006: Membership of the Fuller's CAMRA Complimentary Club is fast approaching the 1,000 mark - including one member all the way from the Sultanate of Oman.

The club, which is free to join, offers CAMRA members a variety of exclusive offers and benefits throughout the year, including free pints of beer, free bottled beers, brewery offers and member-only competitions.

Elton Mouna, Fuller's retail marketing manager, said: "When Fuller's first came up with the idea of a CAMRA Complimentary Club, we decided to trial it first with CAMRA members in Ealing, West London. The response we had was outstanding and it spawned the whole concept, which CAMRA has taken forward so effectively.

"Members receive some great benefits, although our member from Oman will be showing real commitment to come all that way for a free pint!"

Tony Jerome, CAMRA's marketing manager said: "I am delighted that so many CAMRA members have signed up to the CAMRA Fuller's Complimentary Club. As expected, the majority of our members come from the South East of England but it was interesting to see that we also have members joining from across the world.

"It is nice to know that both ex-pats and cask beer fans in other countries remain dedicated to real ale and want to stay in touch with what is happening at Fuller's. We have some exciting offers planned for the next 12 months so I would urge all CAMRA members to sign-up to the club now before they miss out."
