Former Sharp's brewer in new partnership
August 20, 2005: Former Sharp's brewer Geraint Roberts has emerged as a partner in a new North Wales brewery.
He and Euros Jones-Evans have formed Bragdy'r Bryn Cyf at Denbigh and hope to do for real ale drinkers in the north of the country what Brains has done in the south.
The company is aiming to produce a 4 per cent bitter, 4.5 per cent best bitter, 6.2 per cent IPA and a Hoegaarden-style wheat beer.
Mr Jones-Evans told local press that he was lager drinker but had been brought round to the appreciation of bitter by Mr Roberts.
