Woolpack opens its doors again
April 20, 2006: The pub that provided the exterior image for Emmerdale's famous village has re-opened after a six-month closure.
The Woolpack, in Esholt, West Yorkshire, is now being run by Nicola and Richard McGrath, on an Enterprise Inns lease.
Wet sales do particularly well in a pub that attracts more than its fair share of curious visitors, Yorkshire favourites from Tetley's, John Smith's and Theakston's on the bar.
