Wychwood boxed set for festive season
November 19, 2007: Wychwood has launched a Brewers of Character Collection case which will be stocked in Asda and Waitrose for £6.49. It will feature four popular Wychwood brews, each with its own special characters, based on the myths and legends from the Wychwood forest.

Wychcraft (5.4% ABV), thrice hopped, is an aromatic,
fragrant and refreshing beer that can be drunk straight from the fridge.
The label design depicts the four elements, or spirits water (to
steep the barley), fire (to roast the malt), earth (providing hops and
barley) and air (to grow the yeast).
Fiddlers Elbow (4.5%) is a golden wheat beer with a combination of citrus and floral aroma, tart citric fruit in the mouth and a long hoppy finish. English wheat complements the use of Styrian Goldings hops.
Hobgoblin, brewed to 5.2%, is Britains fifth biggest-selling premium bottled ale and its caramel flavours make it perfect for autumn. The Hobgoblins are larger versions of their famous cousin, the Goblins. They are small, solitary, shaggy-haired creatures who are naturally helpful, but be warned Hobgoblins are malicious when offended.
Circle Master (4.7%) is a golden pale organic ale. It is based on a blend of Plumage Archer barley malt, organically grown for Wychwood under the auspices of the Prince of Wales' Duchy estate in Gloucestershire. Whole leaf target hops are added to give a refreshingly citrus flavour with a bittersweet finish.
Rupert Thompson, managing director of Wychwood Brewery, said: "We have taken four of our most popular beers and put them together in this characterfully presented beer case.
"Sales of mixed cases rocket before Christmas, and we feel that these four beers will offer drinkers a delicious insight into Wychwoods family of beers.
