Tutored tastings at the GBBF
July 19, 2007: The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) is offering tutored tastings sessions at the forthcoming Great British Beer Festival, suitable for beer novices and enthusiasts.
The beer masterclasses at the festival which runs from August 7 to 11 are led by beer experts such as Roger Protz (Glenfiddich Drink Writer of the Year 1977 and 2004, and editor of CAMRAs Good Beer Guide), Tim Webb (author of CAMRAs Good Beer Guide Belgium) and brewers from some of the UKs finest breweries.
Also this year CAMRA is proud to welcome Fiona and Will Beckett, who will be leading a tasting of beer to complement food ahead of the release of their upcoming book, Appetite for Ale.
CAMRA marketing manager Georgina Rudman said: Tutored tastings at the Great British Beer Festival offer a unique opportunity to learn how to appreciate beer from leading experts and brewers. These events are always well attended and so we recommend that people book now to avoid disappointment.
To book, contact Caroline Clerembaux on 01727 867201. Places are limited and will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Tickets are non-refundable.
