Counting House takes pride in its Pride
June 19, 2008: The Counting House, Cornhill, has been voted star performer of the month on Fullers beer quality website, www.proudofyourpride.com
The title is awarded once a month to the pub that receives the best online customer reviews for its London Pride. The site provides London Pride drinkers with a forum in which to register details of when and where they recently sampled the ale and asks them to rate it.
Managing director of Fullers Inns, Simon Emeny, said: The Counting House is a magnificent Fuller's pub, located right in the heart of London.
"Originally a bank, the Counting House was built in 1893 and possesses the most wonderful high ceilings and grandiose décor, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great pint.
The pub is run by a very experienced and great character, manager Colin George, who offers outstanding cask ales, delicious food, great wines and exemplary service. The Counting House is a must-visit pub and I strongly recommend you pop in for a pint or two.
Mr George, added: I am really proud to have earned the star performer title. My team and I work hard to ensure that every pint we serve is in tip-top condition and it really is fantastic to hear that this has been recognised by our customers.
