Marston's, England and St George
April 17, 2005: Marstons is raising a glass to St George this month with a patriotic ale, Dragons Tale (4.5%).
Marstons Head Brewer Steve Brooks says the guest ale has been produced with special crystal malt to give a deeper red amber colour to the ale, reflecting the cross of St George.
He added: It has a malty, full-bodied taste which any English man will be proud to drink as the ale has been created with specially selected, unique English malt and hops.
Dragons Tale will be available as a guest ale throughout April as part of Marstons 2005 guest ale programme.
l Marston's has crafted a unique limited edition beer for best-selling men's magazine Nuts. There are just 200 cases of Nuts Premium Beer, which has been crafted using the brewerys own well water, and fermented in oak casks. A series of competitions to win the one-off brew will feature in issues of Nuts over the next few months.
