Gale's beers in Fuller's spring festival
February 17, 2006: Gales beers will be on the menu this year when Fuller's launches its second Spring Beer Festival.
The festival will begin in Fuller's and Gale's pubs on March 13, with London Porter (5.4%), Fuller's world-famous dark beer and silver medal winner in the porter/stout category of the CAMRA National Winter Beer Festival. London Porter is brewed with chocolate malt and has a coffee aroma.
The next beer in the festival will depend upon where you drink it. From April 3, Gales pubs will be able to offer Fuller's ESB Champion Ale (5.5%), three-time CAMRA champion beer of Britain. In contrast, for their second festival beer, Fuller's pubs will offer Gales HSB (4.8%), a full-bodied, well-balanced beer with an aroma of floral hop.
Finally, from April 24, timed to coincide with CAMRA's Mild Month in May, Gales Festival Mild (4.8% ABV) will make its first festival appearance. A gold medal winner in the mild category of the CAMRA contest and silver in the overall competition, Festival Mild - a complex, fruity beer - is normally only available year-round in a few Gale's pubs.
The beers above will only be available in participating pubs. Check the beer brands section of www.fullers.co.uk to find Spring Festival pubs.
