Giant city centre festival in Liverpool

September 16, 2006: The Liverpool branch of CAMRA is staging a huge city-wide real ale festival from tomorrow until September 24.

Twenty-five city centre pubs will be participating in the event. Drinkers will be given a passport to get stamped in each pub they visit. Those who make it around all 25 will be entered into a draw for a 2007 edition of the Good Beer Guide.

There will be a number of special events, including historic pub walks, music nights, beer and food matching sessions, meal deals and pub quiz nights.
