Last-ditch petition to save Jennings
May 16, 2005: CAMRA has launched an online petition as it mounts a last-minute challenge to halt the takeover of Jennings by Wolverhampton & Dudley.
"Help us to convince W&D that their offer is not popular with beer drinkers - their customers," says a rallying call on the CAMRA website.
"We will pass on your views to force W&D to withdraw their offer and keep Jennings independent."
