Beer tasting evening with Tyneside expert

May 16, 2008: Beer writer Alastair Gilmour will be hosting a beer tasting event at Newcastle's Discovery Museum tomorrow evening (Saturday).

The event is part of Museums at Night Weekend, with other activities taking part in other venues in the city.

Beer and film are the themes for the evening at Discovery Museum. Beer lovers will be tempted by the chance to try some of the best local beers around in a ‘Liquid Bred’ session.

Tasting sessions start at 7.30 and 9.30pm and last for an hour.
