Bears enjoys the Hidden beers
l Bristol Bear Fiesta followers outside Hidden Brewery's Bell Inn
June 14, 2007: As part of Bristol Bear Fiesta an annual event that celebrates the masculinity of gay men, The Hidden Brewery, based in Wylye, Wiltshire, and its nearby pub, The Bell Inn, hosted a brewery tour and lunch for more than 30 of the Fiesta followers
The Bristol Bear Fiesta coach drove from Bristol and found its way through the narrow country lanes to the aptly named Hidden Brewery where the bears were greeted with a number of delicious, award-winning real ales.
We had a great laugh showing Bristol Bear Fiesta around the brewery and I think they were all impressed with our Hidden ales!" said Gary Lumber of the Hidden Brewery.
"More and more we are taking visitors on tours of the Hidden Brewery, and, coupled with lunch or an evening meal at our pub, The Bell Inn, a couple of miles down the road, it makes a really good afternoon out.
Between 300 and 400 men took part in the Bristol Bear Fiesta, which is now in its fourth year. Money was raised for a local charity that organises holidays and short breaks for disabled gay and bisexual men in the South West.
