Skinner's sponsors Cornish music festival

May 14, 2007: Skinner's Brewery will be main sponsor for this year’s third Sea Fusion, an open-air clifftop live music festival at Charlestown, Cornwall, on June 16.

"This event has come on in leaps and bounds since its debut in 2004 and we are delighted to be able to increase our level of support for it,” said brewery managing director Steve Skinner.

"It's an excellent showcase for great local and national bands and has also made its mark with substantial donations to charity.”

Sea Fusion, now being held every other year, has pledged £10,000 from the June festival to its chosen charities — Mount Edgcumbe Hospice (including £7,000 for a new bladder scanner), the National Coastwatch Institution (Charlestown), and the Cornwall Air Ambulance.

The festival caters for a wide range of tastes and ages and this year’s top billing includes Boy On A Dolphin (acoustic rock and pop), the Martin Harley Band, the Hitchcock Rules, the Fusion 5, Grapefruit Moon and Friends, and Ben Murphy.
