E&S becomes Elland Brewery

July 12, 2006: Yorkshire brewery E&S has changed its name to the Elland Brewery, to strengthen its community identity.

The brewery was formed as Eastwood & Sanders in 2002, an amalgamation of two microbreweries - the Barge & Barrel Brewery Company, of Elland, and West Yorkshire Brewery, Luddendenfoot.

This year, head brewer David Sanders is creating one special ale per month, known as the Head Brewer's Reserve range.
