June 12, 2006: The streak of humour that has made Shepherd Neame's advertising for Spitfire so well-known is being applied to sister ale Bishop's Finger.
A new £250,000 ad campaign aimed at readers of magazines such as GQ and FHM, will have risque, Blackadder-esque taglines.
For instance, in one a buxom wench declares: "Nothing tickles my fancy like a Bishop's Finger."
