Skinner's is the main sponsor for the huge sailing event, to be held at Falmouth from September 10 to 13, and the new brew will be available throughout the Cornish town then. It will be available in bottle from the end of March.
Described as an easy drinking, quaffing beer, with superb hoppy aromas, the name Manacles Ale is the result of a competition last year.
The winning entry was submitted by Andrew Turner, from Praze-an-Beeble, Cornwall, who will be invited to watch the start of the Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta from Falmouth, on board the Tall Ship Mercedes, on September 13, as the spectacular fleet heads of for Ilhavo, in Portugal.
Andrew will also receive a signed copy of the artwork for promoting Manacles and a case of Skinner's beer.
Skinner's managing director Steve Skinner said: "We are very excited at being involved with the Funchal 500 Tall Ships Regatta this year naming and brewing this dedicated ale is another step closer to this amazing event.
