New Christmas beers from Wold Top
December 10, 2007: Wold Top Brewery has increased its range of beers with the launch of two Christmas ales with a new look.

5 Wold Rings (5%) is a bright, crisp beer with a light, citrussy bitterness and a lingering finish that, says Wold Top, is best enjoyed after a bracing Boxing Day walk.
Cracker Black (6%) is a dark beer with a deep red colour, an underlying maltiness and a subtle fruit aroma that lends itself to an evening in front of the fire.
The ales both have distinctive new labels featuring bespoke illustrations that have been designed to differentiate the Christmas ales from the rest of the range.
The Christmas Ales are also available in Wold Top Brewerys festive gift three-packs (£7) along with other award-winning Wold Top beers, including Wolds Way Pale Ale and Wold Top Bitter.
Made from the finest hops and home-grown malting barley, coupled with the purest, chalk-filtered Wolds water, Wold Top Brewery real ales are brewed with from traditional recipes.
They are available through the website www.woldtopbrewery.co.uk or by calling the brewery on 01723 892222 for more information.
Wold Top brewery was founded in 2003 out of a need to
diversify from farming.
That year production was 100 gallons per week with no paid staff. Three
years later production was up to 1,000 gallons with a paid staff of four.
The brewerys unique selling points include homegrown barley and the farms own source of chalk-filtered water.
Wold Top Brewerys cask and bottled ales can be
found in pubs and off-licences throughout Hull and the East Riding. See
the website for an up-to-date list. The range includes the award-winning
Wold Gold light beer, Falling Stone bitter and double-award-winning Wolds
Way Pale Ale.
