InBev beer volumes rise in UK
May 9, 2008: Despite what it admits are challenging market conditions, InBev saw beer volumes in the UK rise 4.1% in the first quarter of 2008.
Volumes fell 1.2% in Western Europe as a whole, with only Germany putting in another good rise, of 3.4%.
Globally there was a 4.4% rise, driven by good performances from Stella Artois and Beck's, the former's volumes increasing by 7.2% worldwide.
