'Big six' team up to push real ale sales
April 8, 2006: Six major UK breweries are joining forces to raise the profile of real ale in pubs.
Wolverhampton & Dudley, Greene King, Fuller's, Charles Wells, Adnams and Caledonian have the blessing of CAMRA, Cask Marque and the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) in their bid to boost sales of good beer.
And pubcos such as Punch and Enterprise have welcomed th initiative too.
