September 6, 2006: Plant has been badly damaged in an attack on the Ring o' Bells Brewery in Launceston, North Cornwall.
The incident occured on Monday evening - brewer Adrian Carter, who had been in the brewery, suffered leg injuries during the incident.
The damage to plant was so bad that hundreds of gallons of beer were lost.
Seven settling tanks were damaged leading to a loss of around 5,000 pints of beer - a further 5,000 pints in other tanks were contaminated with petrol.
The brewery looks set to be out of action for quite a while.
l A 21-year-old Launceston man was taken into custody by police officers investigating the incident.
