Steam team's Bodmin brews

l Organisers take a break from manning the Cornwall CAMRA beer 'shed' at Bodmin & Wenford Railway's Steam Gala weekend
September 6, 2005: Members of Cornwall CAMRA have proved they are on the right track when it comes to gauging railway buffs tastes.
Visitors to the Bodmin & Wenford Railway's Steam Gala at the weekend drank their way through a dozen casks of Cornish and upcountry beers.
And with names like Skinner's Kernow Steam and Box Steam Tunnel Vision it wasn't difficult to spot the theme.
This was the fifth year that CAMRA had provided a beer festival at the event and it is proving increasingly popular, enjoyed by locals and tourists alike.
And the end of a day ferrying passengers up and down the Bodmin & Wenford Line, a pint or two of real ale is just what the engine driver and fireman need!
