June 6, 2007: Cornish superhero Kernowman is soaring higher than ever after having a beer named after him.
Skinner's, of Truro, Cornwall, has produced Cornish Hero (4.2%) to celebrate the good deeds of the Westcountry character and will be launching the beer at the this week's Royal Cornwall Show.
The local champion regularly visits Skinners brewery for meetings and cannot wait to sample the ale at the show.
Ive bin lookin forward to tryin the new ale for months now its gonna be a beauty! said Kernowman.
Skinners sales manager Andy Hawken said: Were excited about the prospect of being united with the Cornish Superhero, promoting whats best in Cornwall.
'Kernow' is Cornish for 'Cornwall'.
