Haymaker is Hook Norton summer seasonal

June 5, 2008: Hook Norton summer seasonal Haymaker (5% ABV) is to go on sale on draught in pubs throughout July and August.

Haymaker is a, clear, golden, well-balanced premium pale ale with a refreshing aroma and distinctive fruity taste. The light colour and clean flavour belies its strength and it has a moreish hint of sweetness.

Hook Norton managing director James Clarke explained that Haymaker is brewed with a fine blend of Maris Otter Pale Ale and Cara malts, and a mouth-watering mix of Fuggles, Goldings and Challenger hops.

“When poured it has a tantalising effervescence and a wonderful taste," he said. “The quality and depth of its taste make it an ideal accompaniment to food.”
