Bateman's to be available on Costa del Sol

June 5, 2006: Bateman's, the Lincolnshire-based brewer and retailer, has signed its first export agreement with The Little Beer Company, which sells British beer on Spain’s Costa del Sol.

Bateman’s XXXB and Combined Harvest can be delivered to private households, restaurants and hoteliers via The Little Beer Company who stock more than 30 British bottled beers.

Steve Jordan, regional director of Little Beer Company, said: "XXXB is quite simply my favourite English ale so we are absolutely delighted to have signed up Batemans”.

Mr Jordan has a radio slot on the popular Costa Del Sol’s Central FM and REM FM local radio stations where sports are discussed and a selection of British beers are tasted and reviewed on a regular basis.

The beers are also promoted on Costa Del Sol commercial radio via advertisements with a strictly British theme that have included voice-overs who sound like Winston Churchill and Margaret Thatcher and, most recently, Lou and Andy from Little Britain.
