Comrade Bill has the bottle for SIBA victory

March 3, 2007: Comrade Bill Bartram's Egalitarian Anti Imperialist Soviet Stout has scooped top prize in the bottled beer section of the annual beer competition run by the Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA).

The other shortlisted bottled beers were: Harviestoun Bitter and Twisted (4.2%), Hop Back Entire Stout (4.5%), Okell's Dr Okell's IPA (4.5%), Thornbridge Hall Jaipur IPA (5.9%), Triple FFF Gilbert White (6.0%) and Ossett Treacle Stout (5.0%).
