S&N increases stake in Chinese brewery
January 3, 2006: Scottish & Newcastle is set to spend around £100 million taking its stake in the Chinese Chongqing Brewery Company to just under 20%.
The British brewery made an initial £35 million investment in CBC in 2004.
Among CBC's beers is a licensed version of McEwan's 1856.
