Fleet festival raised £2,000 for charity

May 11, 2008: Fleet Lions are gearing up for their 2008 beer festival, having revealed that last year's raised £2,000 for good causes. A major recipient, of £1,000, was the Berkshire Air Ambulance.

The festival's Nigel Durley thanked all those who attended — the Lions hope to see you again on August 16 when this year's festival is held at Ancells Farm Community Centre, Fleet, and will feature beers from the South East of England.
