Brady joins Greene King board

June 14, 2005: John Brady has been appointed a non-executive director of Greene King, with effect from June 24.

Brady was a director of McKinsey and Company until last year, having worked there for 24 years. During that time he led their European retail practice and European marketing practice.

Tim Bridge, chairman of Greene King, said: "We look forward to welcoming John Brady to our board and believe that his strategic perspective and retail and marketing experience will be a great asset to us."

The appointment brings the number of non-executives to six, including the chairman. There are also currently four executive directors, with a fifth, Justin Adams, starting in September.
