Founded in 1980, Ballards is managed by Carola Brown, one of the founders of SIBA. It produces 1,500 gallons of beer each week using malted barley milled on the premises, English hops, yeast and water.

Regular beers: Best Bitter (4.2%), Golden Bine (3.8%), Midhurst Mild (3.4%), Nyewood Gold (5%), Wassail (6%), Wild (4.7%).

Seasonal beers: Old Bounder Series (9.4%), On the Hop (4.5%, September and October), Wheatsheaf (5%, May and June)

Specials: Ballards Annaversary (4.5%), Duadekademon (5.5%)
